DEVOTIONAL INSIGHT.
Love is often perceived as a feeling, but in marriage, love must become a daily decision.
Feelings are important, but they are not always reliable. There will be days when affection flows naturally and days when emotions feel strained. If love is based only on feelings, marriage becomes unstable.
God’s kind of love is not passive but intentional, sacrificial, and consistent.
Choosing love means:
• Responding with patience instead of anger
• Showing kindness even when you feel hurt
• Forgiving when it is difficult
Love is proven not in moments of ease, but in moments of challenge.
When couples choose love daily, they build a relationship that is steady and dependable. Over time, consistent actions of love often restore and strengthen emotional connection.

A husband woke up one morning feeling irritated over unresolved issues with his wife. He felt like withdrawing and keeping his distance.
Instead, he made a deliberate choice, to act in love.
