If you genuinely love your child, you must be ready to do the following;
- Take hard decisions when necessary- because his future well being may be dependent on it.
- Use the rod of correction- because if you fail to do so to prevent him from crying now, you will cry with him in the future.
- Let him value labour- because labour is not punishment but it is a vital requirement of a useful life.
- Let him learn- because there is time and purpose for everything under heaven.
- Prevent him from taking advantage of others- because the less privileged today may become the celebrity of tomorrow.
- Let him experience inconveniences- because it is a vital training tool for those who will live meaningful lives.
- Allow him to grow- because his tomorrow will demand for his maturity
