THERE IS ALWAYS A PAYBACK TIME.
Ruth 4:13′ So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bore a son ‘Ruth 4:17′ Also the neighbor women gave him a name, saying “There is a son born to Naomi.” And they called his name Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David’
When Ruth because of the love she had for Naomi decided to follow her to Israel, friends would have looked at her as having taken a foolish decision. They would have seen Oprah as the one that took the right decision. However, one thing you must note is that there is nothing good or evil that you do that you will not be repaid even to your fourth generations. Exodus 20:5-6“…; for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments”.
Anyone who fails to genuinely love is not a good example of the disciple of Christ. May your love for Ruth was that she, as a Moabite woman became mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. The lesson to be taken from today’s reference scripture is that there is always a payback time. God does not owe anyone. Whatsoever you do in the will of God, you can be sure that you will be repaid. The danger in it is that every evil deed that you do too, there will be payback time.
Remember then that what you are doing today is a seed for your tomorrow. If that is so, you must endeavor to do what is in the will of God, so that your future will reap its abundant fruits of goodness. May you be wise to do the will of God always in Jesus name.
FAMILY FOCUS.If you are faithful to your marital vows, you are not doing your spouse any favour but rather doing your future a great deal of good. If you do any evil against people outside, you may be attracting evil that you and your family may suffer in the future. Receive the wisdom to do what you and your family will benefit from in the future in Jesus name.
